Humans love their cars, and you can put your fingers in your ears and shout, “la,la,la,la,” all you want, but that won’t change reality. It’s not just cars, it’s our entire way of life. You cannot take something that was removed from the environment millions of years ago and put it back into the environment and expect nothing to happen. Ask yourself this, “What exactly was the Earth like before all that co2 was sequestered away?” We don’t like to think in those terms because we won’t be around, but we are being irresponsible to future generations by purposefully ignoring the obvious (well, some of us are ignoring the obvious).
