My thoughts on the Hoke hire at Michigan can be summed up with the single statement, “Manball here we come.” I hope that isn’t what happens, but some of his recent remarks regarding the spread offense leads me to believe that is going to happen. While there is some comfort in going back to knowing you’ll be in a bowl game every year, it’s hard to get excited about the prospect of being good, but not good enough to beat Jim Tressel. I hope I’m wrong, I hope Brian Cook is wrong, I hope the internet is wrong. Time will tell, here is to hoping the new guy turns out to be a hidden gem.
